I wet this Heavy Duty Scrub Brush with water, I scrubbed really hard, and it removed most of the soap scum from my bathtub. But there was still some caked on soap scum left. For that, I used this brush with dish soap and water, and then all of the soap scum was gone. The brush did not make scratches, probably because it has medium soft bristles. But this brush is great at removing soap scum. There are a few grimy areas in the bathtub, but this brush did not clean those areas, no matter how hard I scrubbed. Maybe I need to use a stronger soap than dish soap? Or maybe the bristles on this brush are too soft. This brush is not good at removing grime. This brush is easy to hold in your hand. It dries quickly. The brush is scratch resistant, but I would test a small area first when using this brush. It does not hold water well. After you wet it, most of the water drips off the brush. But if you use soap, the brush holds lather. As you clean with this brush, soap gets on your hands. This brush is not heavy duty because the bristles are too soft. For heavy duty cleaning, you might want to use a stiffer brush than this one.max 90% off,new york mall, ranking top1OXO Good Grips Heavy Duty Scrub Brush

This scrubber is perfect for countertops and other large work surfaces because of its wide bristle area. With two types of stiff nylon bristles to tackle the chore, the bar brush is great for tile, Corian, Formica, or even polished concrete--bristles won't lose their shape no matter how hard you scrub. The Good Grips line features durable, nonslip flexible handles on every product. Ergonomically designed to fit the palm comfortably and softly, the pressure-absorbing processed rubber handle puts less tension on the hands, while providing an outstanding grip. Made from the same material as dishwasher gaskets are constructed of, the handles are slip-proof, wet or dry, as well as dishwasher-safe. Good Grips products are moderately priced and have won the Tylenol/Arthritis Foundation Design Award. "i"--Laurie Notaro

All Abuzz About Bugs!

We are an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing our observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures.

We enjoy the opportunity to instill in others the fascination and appreciation that we share for the intricate lives of these oft-maligned creatures.

Our Mission

Using the best resources we have access to, we are creating a knowledgebase to help each other and the online community.

Our Method

We collect photographs of bugs from the United States and Canada for identification and research.

We summarize our findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species.

Making New Discoveries

More than just a clearinghouse for information, this site helps expand on the natural histories of our subjects. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, we are creating a virtual collection that helps define where and when things might be found.

We capture never-before-seen behaviors and we have photos of species that you won't find anywhere else on the web.
