Focal Shape 65 Studio Monitor (Single)

Focal Shape 65 Studio Monitor (Single):at our store, we stock over 2000 models, so if you see the manufacturer, but not the model, don't be shy - give us a call and we will be happy to check! Went to Vintage King in Los Angeles and listed to these before purchasing. Lot more fun to listen to than my old Dynaudios DBM50s. As many more expanded and thorough reviews will attest to, the Focal Shape 65 are warmer monitors and less clinical and neutral sounding than more studio-oriented mastering monitors. I love em. Sure seem to be "end game" monitors for me for a home listening setup via an iMac and Dangerous Music Source DAC. Cool they have an auto sleep function too, and will wake up automatically when they get a signal. Vintage King are total pros - I'd recommend going through them if you can.philadelphia mall, cheap mail order specialty store, max 48% offFocal Shape 65 Studio Monitor (Single)

Product description

Designed to meet the needs of near-field monitoring, Shape monitors combine an ingenuous design and numerous settings optimized for the acoustics of small listening rooms. These tools distinguish themselves through the wide and extremely precise stereo image. The bass register is articulated and controlled. The lower mid-range and mid-range benefit from extreme neutrality, and without any masking effects, making equalization of these essential registers much easier. Finally, the tweeter is what's at the source of the very high definition. It efficiently reveals any hissing, and it's also very precise in the very high end.Tuned Mass Damper For the past 20 years Focal has been working to master the frequencies at which the cone becomes deformed, otherwise known as the Break up and in doing so have create the ultimate speaker. The speaker driver consists simply of two tubular rings on the suspension whose dimensions and position have been judiciously determined. This creates Tuned Mass Damper (TMD) technology and stabilizes the dynamic behavior of the surround according to resonance, thus avoiding deformation of the cone without afflicting the dynamics. Neutral Inductance Circuit Technology NIC technology, lies in a Faraday ring whose dimensions, materials, and positioning were optimized to make the magnetic field no longer affected by the position of the voice coil, by the amperage or the frequency of the current passing through it.The Unique Qualities of Flax F cones are made of high-quality flax fibers core enclosed by two thin layers of glass fiber. They satisfy the key criteria of a high-performance diaphragm: high internal damping, high velocity of sound and high flexural rigidity.FeaturesTweeter with very low directivity for a flexible listening positionDesigned without a port, but with a double passive radiator, allowing it to be placed near a wallNumerous settings for optimal integrationAccurate control, even in the very high endFlax sandwich cone: c

All Abuzz About Bugs!

We are an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing our observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures.

We enjoy the opportunity to instill in others the fascination and appreciation that we share for the intricate lives of these oft-maligned creatures.

Our Mission

Using the best resources we have access to, we are creating a knowledgebase to help each other and the online community.

Our Method

We collect photographs of bugs from the United States and Canada for identification and research.

We summarize our findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species.

Making New Discoveries

More than just a clearinghouse for information, this site helps expand on the natural histories of our subjects. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, we are creating a virtual collection that helps define where and when things might be found.

We capture never-before-seen behaviors and we have photos of species that you won't find anywhere else on the web.
