EGO Power+ EA0800 8-Inch EGO 56-Volt Lithium-ion Edger Attachmen:at our store, we stock over 2000 models, so if you see the manufacturer, but not the model, don't be shy - give us a call and we will be happy to check! It's hard to write a review that's just for the PH1400, since it doesn't do anything without one of the accessory tools. If you want to read my review of the PSA1000, you can find it on the PSA1000's product page.I have a Black and Decker pole saw (with extension), because I moved to an acre with a lot of trees, but thought that the pruning was just going to be light-duty, and infrequent. I also had an investment in 20 and 40V Bamp;D batteries and equipment, so it seemed like a logical way to go.My experience with EGO equipment started with the purchase of a lawn mower kit (with battery and charger). Since then I've purchased a blower, a PH1400, an EP7500, and PSA1000. The cost of the batteries is prohibitive enough that I pretty much use my 5Ah battery for everything. This purchase may change that.I won't get too much into the accessories because I've only used this with the PSA1000, and not the trimmer or edger. The accessories are pretty expensive considering the motor is in the PH1400.Construction of the part is pretty typical of EGO products. Large, chunky plastic and a mix of extruded and cast aluminum. It feels like a well-built piece of equipment. The controls are intuitive and can easily be operated while wearing heavy gloves. The general-purpose nature of the PH1400+accessories results in a heavier solution than a purpose-specific tool. With a 5Ah battery I feel like it's a little head-light. That might be good for maneuverability, but I'd prefer a bit more weight at the accessory end to help with stability. A lighter battery, like the 2.0 or 2.5Ah, would probably help the balance a bit.I wish that EGO has just made a dedicated pole saw. I don't feel the PH1400 platform was a great choice for this particular application. I suspect that the STA1500 and EA0800 are probably better suited for the PH1400. My EGO reviews tend to sound fairly similar... they're good products if the battery cost doesn't make you flinch. The PH1400 is no exception. All Abuzz About Bugs!

We are an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing our observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures.

We enjoy the opportunity to instill in others the fascination and appreciation that we share for the intricate lives of these oft-maligned creatures.

Our Mission

Using the best resources we have access to, we are creating a knowledgebase to help each other and the online community.

Our Method

We collect photographs of bugs from the United States and Canada for identification and research.

We summarize our findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species.

Making New Discoveries

More than just a clearinghouse for information, this site helps expand on the natural histories of our subjects. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, we are creating a virtual collection that helps define where and when things might be found.

We capture never-before-seen behaviors and we have photos of species that you won't find anywhere else on the web.
