Karter Scientific 208V2 Plastic Test Tube Rack for 12/13mm Tubes

Karter Scientific 208V2 Plastic Test Tube Rack for 12/13mm Tubes:at our store, we stock over 2000 models, so if you see the manufacturer, but not the model, don't be shy - give us a call and we will be happy to check! Like many others, I got this for testing aquarium water - I have multiple tanks and test them all at the same time and this helps me stay organized.Mine arrived intact and was relatively easy to put together. It's a bit flimsy though and doesn't offer much support if you're capping bottles while they're in the rack. It also doesn't line up perfectly and some of the holes are nearly impossible to get a test tube through the second level - even when everything is seated properly. The other disappointment for me was color. The pictures show a clear rack which I would've preferred. Instead I received translucent blue. This means I can't gauge my results at a glance as the color of the rack distorts the color in the tubes. If you're using this for aquarium testing, this means your ammonia test looks a bit green even when levels are perfect - I stopped looking at the tubes until it was time to pull them out and compare because this was making me a little anxious!now free shipping, ranking top16,elegantKarter Scientific 208V2 Plastic Test Tube Rack for 12/13mm Tubes

All Abuzz About Bugs!

We are an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing our observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures.

We enjoy the opportunity to instill in others the fascination and appreciation that we share for the intricate lives of these oft-maligned creatures.

Our Mission

Using the best resources we have access to, we are creating a knowledgebase to help each other and the online community.

Our Method

We collect photographs of bugs from the United States and Canada for identification and research.

We summarize our findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species.

Making New Discoveries

More than just a clearinghouse for information, this site helps expand on the natural histories of our subjects. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, we are creating a virtual collection that helps define where and when things might be found.

We capture never-before-seen behaviors and we have photos of species that you won't find anywhere else on the web.
