Sharp i-Elegance Music System for iPod and MP3 Players (High Glo:at our store, we stock over 2000 models, so if you see the manufacturer, but not the model, don't be shy - give us a call and we will be happy to check! I was comparing this to a Skullcandy Pipe Speaker which sounded pretty good at the local Target. I think both are comparable though the Skullcandy is a little edgier in the highs. The Sharp does not have a remote option while the Skullcandy does. The equalization option for this unit is what really makes it sound great for the size and price. It also looks a little more adult than the Skullcandy, which has a virtual monopoly on teen headphones by the way.I believe the Sharp has a more pleasant appearance in a dark room, displaying small glowing LEDs that are not too bright. At half the price of the Skullcandy Pipe Speaker, well worth the money.3/2013 Update: I have come to especially enjoy the Sharp as a nightstand speaker for playing nature sounds to help me sleep. About ten years ago I had the idea to use a laptop to combine various sounds (frogs, birds, wind, etc.) to create a custom sound. Ran into copyright protections so dropped the idea. Now my ipod has a couple of apps that basically do the same thing. The Sharp really shines here as most nature sounds have more information in the highs and less in the lows, so a bass heavy unit is not needed. The DSP is spot on, making the sounds pretty airy for such a little device. I tried a Bose unit for about 0 but thought the DSP required sitting in a sweet spot. Not so much with this unit. Really amazing for about . You can even run it off a solar source if that is your thing.max 80% off, trust, max 47% offSharp i-Elegance Music System for iPod and MP3 Players (High Glo

All Abuzz About Bugs!

We are an online community of naturalists who enjoy learning about and sharing our observations of insects, spiders, and other related creatures.

We enjoy the opportunity to instill in others the fascination and appreciation that we share for the intricate lives of these oft-maligned creatures.

Our Mission

Using the best resources we have access to, we are creating a knowledgebase to help each other and the online community.

Our Method

We collect photographs of bugs from the United States and Canada for identification and research.

We summarize our findings in guide pages for each order, family, genus, and species.

Making New Discoveries

More than just a clearinghouse for information, this site helps expand on the natural histories of our subjects. By capturing the place and time that submitted images were taken, we are creating a virtual collection that helps define where and when things might be found.

We capture never-before-seen behaviors and we have photos of species that you won't find anywhere else on the web.
